Nicephore Niepce

Nicephore Niepce
He is most known for being one of the inventors of photography as well as a pioneer in the field of photography. Not only did he help invent photography but he also invented the Phyreolophore; the worlds first internal combustion engine. He also did much of his work with his brother Claude; whom he was close with; but in 1828 died in a state of delirium.
It was his first photo taken with a camera obscura and was taken at Saint-Loup-de-Varennes in 1826. The exposure took him 8 hours to capture the photo.
