Self Portraits

Self Portraits

A lot of people don't know me as well as they think they do. Usually I'm really outgoing and I'm up to try anything. But a lot of the time I just want to be quite and think to myself. The things that have happened throughout my life up to this point have made me appreciate the relationships i have with people. Through these portraits I portray the struggle I have each day but also the happiness I try to carry with me each day. They show that even though I sometimes have a tough time in day to day things I also find ways to make me happy.

Portraits

These three boys are some of my best friends. They are the ones who make me giggle and they constantly bring a smile to my face. Their personalities are so different that they constantly keep me on my toes. They are one of the reasons for me to me to smile each day.

 Boys, Boys, Boys

This is my dad and he is my saving grace. He is always there for me even during the toughest times of my life. He know how to cheer me up and will always listen to me no matter what. He is very laid back and doesn't worry about the future or dwell on the past, he takes everyday as it come at him. His life has made him a strong person and a great parent to me and my little sister.
 Smile and Wave

This here is my little sister, she likes to get under my skin whenever she can, but I love her anyways. She is someone I would describe as a free spirit. She likes to do things her way or no way at all. One of her favorite things to do is read. I swear she reads like 4-8 books a week, and because of this it makes her very opinionated. She believes in what she believes in and won't let anyone tell her any different. Another one of her favorite things are Skittles... She can pound them down by the bag full, she really likes to chow down after soccer with friends. All I really know is that she's really weird.

Beauty

  1. Personally I think beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I could never describe it. There are so many different kinds of beauty that it's hard to put a label on it.
  2. I think clarity and sharpness are a huge factor of beauty. It makes the photo stand out to you
  3. I feel that yes, and characteristicly ugly photo can be describe as beautiful because it shows a different type of pretty. I think everything if photographed right can be considered beautiful.
  4. The photo to the right I feel is of something our world would describe as ugly but I find it beautiful because it shows the problems we face in different countries.

The Brownie Camera

1. A Brownie Camera is a inexpensive easy snapshot camera that was originally derived from a cardboard box with a simple meniscus lens.

2. The brownie camera was named after the popular cartoons and was created by Palmer Cox
3. It change society because it was inexpensive and now anyone could take pictures because of their inexpensiveness as well as the fact that they were easy to use snap shot cameras.
